Wednesday, August 20, 1986 <br />The Board ofCountyCommissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />August 20, 1986, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Vice Chairman; Richard <br />N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also <br />present were L. S. "Tommy" Thomas, Acting County Administrator; <br />Charles P. Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners; Joseph Baird, OMB Director; and Virginia <br />Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Gather Gerard Lamoth, St. Helen's Catholic Church gave the <br />invocation, and Commissioner Bird led the Pledge of Allegiance to <br />the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Scurlock wished to add a discussion re meeting days <br />0+ <br />and also an item re the C.O. for the golf course. <br />Commissioner Lyons requested the addition of a discussion of <br />central dispatch as a time certain item at 11:00 A.M. <br />Commissioner Bird wished to add a report on the proposed <br />Gifford Community Building as a time certain item also around <br />11:00 A.M. <br />Attorney Vitunac later in the meeting added approval of a <br />Reservation of Road Right -of -Way by Robert Vatland as this would <br />save Mr. Vatland a week's time on his site plan approval. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously added the <br />above described items to today's agenda. <br />MUG 2 0 1966 BOOK f;��d <br />If <br />
