Reports <br />The following were received and put on file in the Office of <br />Clerk to the Board: <br />Month to date report for Month of July by Last Name. <br />Traffic Violation Bureau, Special Trust Fund, Month <br />of July, 1986 - $48,341.97. <br />C, Cancellation of Hobart Tower Lease (Communications of Vero) <br />The Board reviewed memo of the General Services Director: <br />TO: The Honorable Members DATE: August 13, 1986 FILE: <br />of the Board of County <br />Commissioners <br />THRU: L. S. "Tommy" Thomas SUBJECT: Hobart Tower Lease <br />Acting County Communications of Vero <br />Administrator <br />H. T. "Sonny an <br />FROM: Director REFERENCES: <br />General Service <br />On May 21,.1986, we entered into a two year contract with <br />Communications of Vero fora location on the Hobart Tower at the 300 <br />foot level. <br />Mr. Robert Stork, owner of the business, has requested by letter that <br />the lease be cancelled due to a business problem. Our standard lease <br />does not provide a cancellation clause for the lessee under any <br />circumstances. <br />Staff recommends that the lease be cancelled, and that a provision be <br />included in all our standard leases to allow the lessee to cancel his <br />contract with good cause on thirty (30) days written notice to the <br />owner. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved <br />the cancellation of lease with Communications of Vero <br />for space on the Hobart Tower and directed that a can- <br />cellation clause be included in all our standard leases. <br />L9 <br />
