Tuesday, August 26, 1986 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission - <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />August 26, 1986, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Vice Chairman; <br />Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Absent was <br />Richard N. Bird, who was on vacation: Also present were L. --S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Acting County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />Attorney to the -Board of County Commissioners; and Barbara <br />Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Bowman led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Administrator Thomas requested the following additions to <br />today's Agenda: <br />1-. Two change orders on Sandridge Golf Club. <br />2. A request from Ralmar Associates, Inc, for postponement of <br />a public hearing scheduled for September 2, 1986, to <br />appeal a P & Z denial on rezoning 26.2 acres from A-1 to <br />RS -6. <br />Chairman Scurlock requested that Item 7 - Request from <br />Sheriff for Six Additional Officers - be moved to today's Consent <br />Agenda as Item 5N since Sheriff Dobeck has agreed to fund this <br />item with monies from the confiscated fund. <br />rt BOOP:. �� Fj:��;r �(�� <br />AUG 2 6 1986 <br />
