SPECIAL CALL MEETING <br />r <br />51 <br />Wednesday, August 27, 1986 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Special Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />August 27, 1986, at 11:40 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, J'r`., Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Vice Chairman; and <br />Margaret C. Bowman. Absent were Richard N. Bird, who was on <br />vacation; and William C. Wodtke, Jr.; who was out of the county. <br />Also present were Charles P. Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of <br />County Commissioners; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and explained that <br />the purpose of this emergency special call meeting is to award <br />the bid for installation of water service from the water main to <br />the buildings at the new Jail site, because if this is not done <br />immediately, the County might have to extend the completion time <br />on the contract. The bids were received just yesterday and this <br />morning. <br />Commissioner Bowman asked if the media had been notified, <br />and it was confirmed that the media had been called. <br />AWARD OF BID FOR WATER SERVICE TO THE NEW COUNTY JAIL <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 8/27/86: <br />(insert) <br />AUG 2 7 M <br />BOOK. <br />
