� r � <br />Tuesday, September 2, 1986 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />September 2, 1986, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Vice -Chairman; Richard <br />N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also <br />present were L. S. "Tommy" Thomas, Acting County Administrator; <br />Charles P. Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners; Joseph Baird, OMB Director; and Barbara Bonnah, <br />Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Lyons led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Scurlock requested the following additions -to <br />today's Agenda: <br />1. A budget amendment to purchase Savin V-35 copier for Judge <br />Kilbride's Office. <br />2. Permission to obtain a quote from the Florida League of <br />Cities on County Insurance. <br />Attorney Vitunac requested the addition to today's Agenda of <br />a recommendation by the Planning Department to file a law suit <br />against the School Board for not following site plan procedures <br />in the building of two new schools. <br />Administrator Thomas requested the addition of approval of <br />recent negotiations on the 1986-87 contract with CWA. <br />`�n z : <br />VSEP 2 9986 BOOK V as �i. 5 E <br />
