rr"e- <br />SEP-10 1936 <br />BOOKp-� <br />Attorney Vitunac read aloud the title of proposed Resolution <br />86-68 establishing the assessment rate to be levied by the West <br />Indian River County Fire Protection District. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />adopted Resolution 86-68 establishing a millage <br />rate of .308826 (19.60 over rollback) for the West <br />County Fire District for fiscal year 1986-87. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86- 68 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONER <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THF <br />TAX MILLAGE- RATE TO BE LEVIED UPON ALL REAL ANE <br />PERSONAL TAXABLE PROPERTY IN THE WEST INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING UNIT <br />FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986-87 FOR THE WEST INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />FIRE PROTECTION MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING UNIT. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget Officer of Indian River County <br />prepared and presented to the County Commission a tentative budget <br />for. the West Indian River County. Fire Protection Municipal Servic( <br />Taxing- Unit for the fiscal year commencing on the 1st day of <br />October, 1986, and ending on the 30th day of September, 1987, <br />addressing each of the funds therein as provided by law, including <br />all estimated receipts, taxes to be levied, and balances expectec <br />to be brought <br />forward, and all <br />estimated <br />expenditures, <br />reserves, <br />and balances to <br />be carried over <br />at the end <br />of the year; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of <br />County Commissioners <br />of <br />Indiar <br />River County held numerous public <br />workshops to consider <br />and <br />ament <br />the tentative budget as presented; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board did prepare a statement summarizing <br />all of the tentative budgets showing for each budget and for thf <br />total of all budgets, proposed tax millages, the balances, anc <br />reserves, and the total of each major classification of th( <br />receipts and expenditures classified according to account, <br />prescribed by the appropriate State agencies; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed millage rate for the West Indiar <br />River County Fire Protection Municipal Service Taxing Unit exceedf <br />rolled back rate by 1.9 6 %; and 42 <br />
