Brown <br /> Director, Management <br /> DESCRIPTIONS AND CONDITIONS <br /> On August 18, 2015 the Board of County Commissioners approved the Applications for Funding <br /> Assistance from (FDLE) Florida Department of Law Enforcement for Federal Fiscal Year <br /> 2015/16 to fund local anti-drug abuse projects. For fiscal year 2015/2016 the County's local law <br /> enforcement agencies decided to divide the grant dollars of$54,202 evenly (IRC Sheriff, City of <br /> Vero, PD, Fellsmere PD, Sebastian PD, Indian River Shores Public Safety). <br /> Indian River County received a letter dated February 29, 2016 from Florida Department of Law <br /> Enforcement awarding the Indian River County Sheriffs Office $10,842.00 to be used for Drug <br /> Enforcement Programs. Florida Department of Law Enforcement requires that Certificates of <br /> Acceptance and Certification of Conflict of Interest be signed and returned back to the Florida <br /> Department of Law Enforcement within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the award and <br /> prior to the reimbursement of any project expenditures. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the Certificate of <br /> acceptance of Subgrant Award and the Certification of Conflict of Interest and authorize the <br /> Chairman to execute these documents. <br /> ATTACHMENTS <br /> Letter from Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement <br /> Certificate of Acceptance of Subgrant Award <br /> Certification of Conflict of Interest <br /> 95 <br />
