DeBlois,AICP *11> <br /> Chief, Environmental Planning <br /> DATE: March 15, 2016 <br /> RE: Board Consideration to Approve a Services Consultant Agreement with Atelier <br /> AEC, Inc. for Phase 11A Restoration of the Archie Smith Fish House Dock <br /> It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners formally consider the following information at its <br /> regular meeting of March 22, 2016. <br /> DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br /> In 2014, in conjunction with a grant received from the State Division of Historic Resources, the County <br /> contracted with Atelier Architecture Engineering Construction, Inc. (Atelier AEC) to produce restoration <br /> design plans for the county-owned historic Archie Smith Fish House at 1740 North Indian River Drive. In <br /> coordination with county staff and with County Historian Ruth Stanbridge, Atelier AEC completed the <br /> restoration design, including plans for restoration of the historic dock at the site. <br /> On December 15, 2015, the Board of County Commissioners approved a Project Agreement with the <br /> Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) for 50% cost-share grant funding for phased restoration of the <br /> Archie Smith Fish House dock, to accordance with the Atelier AEC design plans.
