Okeechobee County does not have a Hazardous Materials team at this time. Therefore, <br /> we do not have any Level A Hazmat suits. We have eight members that have taken the 160-hour <br /> Hazardous Material Technician training course. <br /> #2. Okeechobee County Fire Rescue is a Light Technical Rescue Team-Type II and is <br /> identified as team#643. Our team is a joint venture between the City of Okeechobee and the <br /> County and has 15 members. I have provided a copy of that recognition certificate. <br /> #3. The daily staffing requirements and response deployment policies for Okeechobee <br /> County Fire Rescue meet the requirements of the"two in two out"rule as required by Florida <br /> Statute 633, Florida Administrate Code 69A62,and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134.
