based on assuming they would come in at the number of hours <br />budgeted for the job, which he knew they haven't done yet; so we <br />have gotten some break there. Mr. Fry stressed that he would <br />prefer to go with the full scope audit and cover each one of the <br />individual funds, which he felt would be more beneficial to the <br />county because it insures that everything is being recorded <br />properly and that we are complying with the requirements of each <br />one of the individual funds. <br />Chairman Scurlock inquired if Administrator Balczun <br />concurred -with Mr. Fry in regard to the full scope audit, and he <br />confirmed that he did. <br />The Chairman advised that his feeling would be to go with <br />Option A and authorize staff to negotiate with Arthur Young and <br />impress on them the need to lower their fee. <br />Commissioner Bird asked if it would make any sense that the <br />fee for the additional work could be -less since they are already <br />here and set up. It seems the rate for the additional is higher. <br />Director Fry noted that part of it is additional fixed cost, <br />but he agreed that it would be worthwhile to negotiate. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bird, the Board unanimously (3-0) authorized <br />staff to proceed based on Option A, renegotiate the <br />proposed fee with Arthur Young and report back. <br />REQUEST FOR ORDINANCE RE OVERGROWN LOT CONDITIONS <br />Richard Votapka came before the Board in regard to the <br />overgrown condition of the property adjacent to his residence, as <br />set out in the following letter: <br />' <br />13 <br />SEP 2 3 1986 <br />U3 P,4Ct 813 <br />
