The corridor being considered goes from Roseland <br />Shopping Center to basically Pelican Pointe and provides for <br />elimination of 16 package plants. The only opposition encountered <br />at the meeting was an insistence that additional areas be included, <br />particularly the Sebastian Highlands area which has an existing <br />franchise. This will all come back in a formal report. <br />Commissioner Lyons wished to know how far west this might go <br />on SR <br />512, <br />and the <br />Chairman stated <br />that <br />it would <br />not <br />be <br />very far <br />right <br />now <br />as there <br />is not enough to <br />cost <br />justify <br />it <br />at <br />this <br />point. <br />Commissioner Lyons was concerned about Chesser Gap, and <br />Utilities Director Pinto stated that they may be able to come in <br />on the proposed system. <br />Commissioner Bowman inquired about River's Edge and the <br />Fischer development, and Director Pinto advised that they will <br />look at something special for River's Edge because of the problems <br />they are experiencing. <br />It was agreed that the important part is to get the core <br />system set up. <br />REPORT ON SANDRIDGE GOLF CLUB <br />Commissioner Bird reported that by the end of this week they <br />will have planted probably nine holes entirely, and after the <br />architect gives final approval on the shaping on the other nine, <br />they will plant that nine, water and pray for warm weather. <br />AGREEMENT ESTABLISH TRI -COUNTY COUNCIL OF LOCAL GOVERNMENTS <br />Commissioner Bowman advised that more changes have been <br />• made, and she will bring the agreement back at another meeting. <br />121 <br />m• <br />S E P 3 0 1986 BOOK 65 raf 956 <br />
