D. Approval of Inter Agency/Public Works Agreement <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 9/25/86: <br />TO: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMI 10 ERS DATE: SEPTEMBER 25, 1986 <br />FROM: TERRANCE G. PINT % <br />DIRECTOR OF UTILITY)`SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: APPROVE INTER AGENCY/PUBLIC WORKS AGREEMENT <br />BACKGROUND <br />In the past, the County has entered into an agreement with the <br />Indian River Correctional Institution to provide inmates to perform <br />various duties at the County landfill. The Institution provides one <br />supervisor and one vehicle each day to transport the inmates assigned ` <br />to the landfill area and to provide supervision once there. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve <br />and adopt the Agreement. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Inter Agency/Public Works Agreement, as <br />recommended by Utilities Director Pinto. <br />12 <br />® CT 14 1996 7 BOOK 66 FAGE 07 <br />L- <br />
