Adoption of Resolution: Final Order for General Development <br />Utilities, Inc_ Water Pass-through Rate Increase <br />— The Board reviewed the following memo -dated 10/13/86: <br />TO: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS DATE: OCTOBER 13, 1986 <br />THRU: JEFFREY K. BARTON <br />Assistant Director of Utility Services <br />FROM: LISA M. ABERNETHY; <br />Franchise Manager <br />SUBJECT: FINAL ORDER GENERAL DEVELOPMENT UTILITIES, INC. o <br />BACKGROUND <br />On September 18, 1986 a duly notified and published public hearing was <br />held before the Board of County Commissioners regarding a water pass- <br />through rate increase for General Development Utilities, Incorporated. <br />At that time, the Board of County Commissioners followed staffs <br />recommendation to delay their decision until October 21, 1986. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff has reviewed all materials presented at the public hearing and <br />maintains their position of the proposed consumption charges as <br />follows: <br />$1.70 Present approved rate <br />.70 Adjustment of operating costs <br />$1.00 Adjusted approved rate <br />plus 1.72 Pass-through <br />$2.72 Proposed Rate/1,000 gallons <br />Attached hereto is a Resolution passing the final order and placing <br />into effect the water pass-through rate increase. Staff requests the <br />Board of County Commissioners to sign and approve said Resolution. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 86-91, authorizing a new water rate for <br />General Development Utilities, Inc., to include <br />pass-through amounts for county water purchases. <br />14 <br />
