Chairman Scurlock noted that his confusion -had related to <br />the request for authorization to proceed with "the restroom <br />conceptual plan" for Joe Earman Park at an amount of $45,000, and <br />Director Thomas confirmed that this amount was for the entire <br />plan and the word "re.stroom" should have been left out. <br />Chairman Scurlock asked for an update on Blue Cypress Lake <br />Park, and Utilities Director Pinto reported that he has just <br />received word from both the EPA and DER that both Blue Cypress <br />Lake Park and Rockridge have been placed on a priority list to be <br />eligible for a grant, and he believed there is a good possibility <br />this could be funded in 1987. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved <br />applications to the Florida Boating Improvement Fund <br />for $45,000 to complete Joe Earman Park and for <br />$20,000 to contribute toward the cost of paving the <br />roadways to the launching ramps at Bob Summers Park. <br />F.
