NOV 2 5 ?Q,P <br />BOOK �F�r,� 511 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously committed <br />to the construction of the bridges, cart paths, and <br />cart storage building, and the paving of the <br />parking lot, and agreed to hold off on the <br />construction of the clubhouse until further financial <br />information is available. <br />Director Thomas emphasized that a decision has to be made on <br />the clubhouse pretty soon, and Director Baird questioned the <br />validity of the low bid because the other bidders might object to <br />the low bid because of the deletion of the clubhouse. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously <br />directed staff to proceed on the bids on the 4 items <br />in a lawful and legitimate manner as determined by the <br />County Attorney and report back to the Board. <br />Richard Schuler, Whipporwill Lane, felt it might be a <br />mistake to pursue temporary quarters for the clubhouse because of <br />the complications in hooking up water and sewer. He suggested <br />that we go ahead with just the shell of the clubhouse and finish <br />off the interior as funds become available, but Commissioner Bird <br />pointed out that we may not be able to get a Certificate of <br />Occupancy unless the interior is finished. <br />Commissioner Bird advised that they would work hard on this <br />$141,000 and see what we can come up with. He was sure that <br />there were individuals in the community who would consider <br />loaning that amount to the County perhaps on some preferential <br />basis. <br />APPOINTMENTS TO TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 11/24/86: <br />48 <br />
