Additional Street Lights, Gifford Street_ Lighting District <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 11/13/86: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of the DATE: November 13, 1986 FILE: <br />Board of County Cram issioners <br />THROUGH: <br />Charles Balczun, <br />County Administrator SUBJECT: <br />James W. Davis, P.E., <br />Public Works Directo <br />Additional Street Lights, <br />Gifford Street Light District <br />FROM:Michael L. Orr, 0 REFERENCES: <br />Traffic Engineer <br />DESCRIPTION or CONDITIONS <br />The Gifford ccammnity was inspected on November 5, 1986 in response to <br />street light requests, to improve spacing of existing lights, and for <br />intersections without lighting. <br />A list of locations investigated for street lights is attached noting the <br />location, activity involved and affected electrical utility. <br />Street lights along 49th Street should be considered because of its recent <br />paving and extension as a collector road/truck route. Street lighting <br />along 43rd Avenue should also be considered due to the programed extension <br />of the road as a primary collector between 45th Street and 49th Street in <br />the near future. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />1. Approve the installation or modification of all street lights on the <br />attached list. <br />2. Approve the installation or modification of selected street lights on <br />the attached list. <br />` 3.
