DER/EPA Grant to Construct Wastewater Facilities at Blue <br />Cypress Lake Park and_Rockridge Subdivision <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 11/18/86: <br />TO: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS DATE: November 18, 1986 <br />i <br />THRU: CHARLES P. BALCZUN, ADMINISTRATOR <br />FROM: TERRANCE G. PINTO, DIRECTOR OF UTILLfTY'SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: BLUE CYPRESS LAKE PARK & ROCKRIDGE DEVELOPMENTS <br />DER -EPA GRANT TO CONSTRUCT WASTEWATER FACILITIES <br />BACKGROUND <br />Indian River County Utility Services has applied for a Department of <br />Environmental Regulation -Environmental Protection Agency Step 3 Grant <br />to construct wastewater facilities to service Rockridge and Blue <br />Cypress Lake Park and Development. <br />Both projects have been placed on the 1987 funding list; however, in <br />order to remain on the list, the County must submit prerequisite <br />information pertaining to financial capability and the collection <br />system. <br />AVAT.VCTe <br />The Grant could amount to as much as- 550 of the construction cost. <br />Because of the unique circumstances pertaining to the projects, grant <br />funding is very probable. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Division of Utility Services requests that the Board of County <br />Commissioners authorize expenditure up to $5,000 to complete the <br />required information through the services of Camp, Dresser & McKee, <br />Inc., engineering consultants. <br />8 <br />
