DEC 1 f� 1966 <br />EQGK 66 f'D;1-- 715 <br />Commissioner Bird believed that the Administrator and <br />Director Thomas also have been working on other aspects of moving <br />the temporary structure, and he wondered about the final costs. <br />Director Thomas reported that Planning is putting it through " <br />an administrative site plan approval, and Lynn Williams, <br />Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds, feels his crew can handle <br />the foundation and do the interior work. He noted that they are <br />a fine crew and did a fine job on the concession stand at <br />Kiwanis-Hobart Park. <br />The Chairman felt we will be able to do this for less than <br />$15,000 total. <br />CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS <br />Administrator Balczun informed the Board that in trying to <br />be consistent with the other Constitutional Officers and public <br />agencies in the area, he would like to propose that we not open <br />for business on the Friday following Christmas nor on the Friday <br />following New Year's Day. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Eggert, that the County offices be closed on <br />the Fridays following Christmas Day and New Year's Day. <br />Commissioner Bird inquired as to the number of paid holidays <br />this would total this year and the extra cost, and Administrator <br />Balczun advised it would be 11. He noted that actually there is <br />no cash difference, and he did feel it is better that we be <br />closed on those days. <br />Commissioner Bird agreed this year is a unique situation and <br />felt we would not be setting a precedent.
