DEC 2 3 <br />1986 <br />BOOK <br />E 1'2'0 8 <br />Chairman Scurlock <br />opened the floor to nominations <br />for Vice <br />Chairman. <br />Commissioner Eggert placed the name of Commissioner Bowman <br />in nomination. <br />There being no further nominations, Chairman Scurlock <br />declared the nominations closed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />1 - <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously reelected <br />Margaret C. Bowman as Vice Chairman of the Board of <br />County Commissioners for 1987. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Wheeler requested the addition of a discussion <br />of the establishment of a long-range planning committee for <br />courthouse needs and a new Marine Advisory Board. <br />Attorney Vitunac requested that an employment agreement for <br />a replacement attorney in the Public Defender's Office be added. <br />Administrator Balczun requested the addition of <br />authorization to sign off on the FEC permit on the Gifford Sewer <br />Project. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously added <br />the above items to today's Agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or <br />additions to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of 12/2/86. <br />There were none. <br />2 <br />
