The upland property <br />associated with the project is on Winding River Road, <br />located in the unincorporated portion of the County. <br />- Work & Purpose: The applicant proposes to construct a <br />private residential L-shaped dock with a 4' X 42' main <br />access pier and a 6" X 241terminal platform (total square <br />footage: 312'). No sewage pump -out or fueling facilities <br />are proposed. No dredging or filling will be performed. <br />ALTERNATIVES & ANALYSIS: <br />The Planning and Development Division reviews and submits <br />comments on dredge and fill applications to the permitting <br />agencies based upon the following: <br />- The Conservation & Coastal Zoning Management Element of <br />the Indian River Comprehensive Plan <br />- Coastal Zone Management, Interim Goals, Objectives & <br />Policies for the Treasure Coast Region <br />- The Hutchinson Island Planning & Mana ement Plan <br />- The Indian River County Code of Laws and Ordinances <br />- Chapter 18-20, Florida Administrative Code <br />County records indicate that a principal structure does not <br />presently exist on the subject property. Section 25.1(c)(7), <br />Appendix A, Zoning, of the Code of Laws and Ordinances of <br />Indian River County requires an administrative permit for docks <br />JAN 2 7 197 <br />
