Tuesday, March 24, 1987 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />March 24, 1987, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock; Jr., Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; <br />Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also <br />present were Charles P. Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners; Joseph Baird, OMB Director; and Barbara Bonnah, <br />Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Bird led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Scurlock requested the addition to today's Agenda <br />of a discussion regarding the reappointment of Medical Examiner <br />Leonard Walker. <br />Chairman Scurlock also requested that the following two <br />items be added to today's Consent Agenda: <br />As Item W, a request for authorization to advertise and <br />review proposals for a Financial Advisor; and, <br />As Item X, a budget amendment to adjust for previously <br />approved annual raises. <br />Chairman Scurlock requested the deletion of Item 10A - <br />Review of the draft of the proposed Beach Preservation Plan of <br />IRC. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously added and <br />deleted the above items to today's Agenda. <br />BOOK 6 l+ Ft;E 6419 <br />
