Baird <br />OMB Director <br />DATE: April 1, 1987 <br />SUBJECT: PERMISSION TO OBTAIN <br />TEMPORARY FINANCING <br />FOR $9,200,000 GIFFORD <br />SEWER PROJECT <br />The Office of Management and Budget is requesting permission <br />to proceed in obtaining temporary financing for the $9,200,000 <br />Gifford Bond Issue. The County has already gone through the <br />validation process and will award contracts in the near future to <br />obtain a Letter of Commitment from Farmers Home Administration. <br />M. G. Lewis will be underwriter for the Gifford Issue. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Board of County -Commissioners authorize staff to proceed in <br />obtaining temporary financing for the $9,200,000 Gifford Issue. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Eggert, the Board unanimously granted <br />permission for staff to pursue temporary financing <br />for the$9.2 million Gifford Bond Issue. <br />Z.
