Proclamation+ Amateur Radio Operators <br />P R O C L A M A T I O N <br />67 FACE 7si <br />WHEREAS, the FCC -licensed amateur radio operators of the <br />Treasure Coast Repeater Association and the Vero Beach Amateur <br />Radio Club have voluntarily registered their capabilities and <br />equipment to provide emergency communications as a public <br />service; and <br />WHEREAS, the Radio Amateur Communications Emergency Service <br />(RACES) members have, on numerous occasions, unselfishly <br />volunteered their time to provide emergency communications during <br />disaster drills and exercises and in actual emergencies: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS of Indian River County, Florida that the members of <br />the Treasure Coast Repeater Association, Vero Beach Amateur Radio <br />Club, and Radio Amateur Communications Emergency Service be <br />acknowledged and commended for their services to the people of <br />Indian River County, Florida; and <br />Dated this 7th day of April, 1987 <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />i L <br />Don C.
