Tuesday, April 21, 1987 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tujesday, <br />April 21, 1987, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; <br />Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also <br />present were Charles P. Balczun, County Administrator; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph <br />Baird, OMB Director; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Dr. Stan Sanford, First Baptist Church, Wabasso, gave the <br />invocation, and Chairman Scurlock led the Pledge of Allegiance to <br />the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Chairman Scurlock requested the addition of an emergency <br />item under Utilities relating to Bent Pine lodging an appeal with <br />the DER re our effluent disposal method for the Gifford Sewer <br />plant expansion project. <br />Chairman Scurlock advised that under his items, he will <br />report on the Medical Examiner's Commission meeting as well as <br />give an update on North Beach Water Company. <br />Commissioner Wheeler wished to add an item in regard to a <br />replat of Shorelands Subdivision. This was requested by Carter & <br />Associates who apparently had to make some minor changes in lot <br />lines on an approved plat to make provision for utility access. <br />It was recently approved with the minor changes, and this is <br />simply so they can close on a piece of property that has been <br />held up due to getting this error straightened out. <br />it <br />BOOP( Ub f'k�U � 1_C) <br />APR 2 1.1997 <br />
