He also noted that sometime in the near future, there <br />would be water lines within a close distance. <br />Commissioner Bird asked if Bent Pine Utility has been unco- <br />operative; he believed this is a holdover from the old Florida <br />Land deal. <br />Director Pinto stated they have been uncooperative in <br />everything we have ever done with them. <br />Discussion continued as to Bent Pine's intent, the fact that <br />this litigation could be very costly, and that the burden of <br />proof is on us. Chairman Scurlock felt if Bent Pine Utility were <br />dealing in good faith, they would be willing to accept an <br />agreement that we will not harm them and we will be responsible. <br />Commissioner Eggert asked whether they can withdraw this <br />claim once they have made it, or whether we have to go''through <br />the whole procedure once it is initiated.
