RESOLUTION NO. 86-104 <br />A. To prepare and recommend policies for <br />the development of the Indian River 'County <br />Public Library System. <br />B. To develop specific five-, ten-, and <br />twenty-year goals regarding facilities-: <br />required by the Indian River County Public <br />Library System. <br />C. To revise such goals each year to <br />avoid stagnation and to maintain realistic'' <br />goals. <br />D. To develop specific recommendations <br />to achieve the five-, ten- and twenty-year <br />goals, which recommendations should iniclude, <br />but not be limited to, the following <br />concerns: funding sources; sites' for <br />necessary facilities; acquisition of <br />collections, materials, or equipment. <br />E. To act as a liaison between any <br />"friends of libraries" or similar <br />organizations and the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County. <br />F. To keep abreast of and advise the <br />Board of County Commissioners of any funding <br />available from state or federal sources and <br />any relevant changes in state or federal law. <br />G. To conduct such public hearings or <br />workshops as may be deemed necessary by the <br />Advisory Board or by the Board of County <br />Commissioners. <br />H.
