E. , Beindorf & <br />Drainage Engineer Assoc. to Jim Davis dated <br />April 13, 1987 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Beindorf & Associates on behalf of the developer of Little Harbour <br />Subdivision (on the West side of A -1-A abutting the south property line <br />of Castaway Cove) is requesting a waiver of the "cut and fill" balance <br />requirement as contained in the Stormwater Management and Flood <br />Protection Ordinance (87-12). The Engineer states that only 462 c.y. of <br />material will be placed in the 10 -year Flood Plain. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Since the Indian River in this area is an estuarine environment, <br />and the project meets all other requirements of Ordinance 87-12 and will <br />cause a minute water level rise in the river, staff has no objection. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />--_ Staff recommends that a waiver to the flood plain displacement <br />requirement be'granted to Little Harbour Subdivision. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />granted a waiver to the floodplain displacement <br />requirement in Ordinance 87-12 to Little Harbour <br />Subdivision, as recommended by Public Works Director <br />Davis. - <br />J._ Local Option Sales Taxes/Gasoline Taxes <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 5/20/87: <br />10 <br />
