Tuesday, June 2, 1987 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian RiverlCounty, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />June 2, 1987, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. Scurlock, <br />Jr., Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; Rich rd N. <br />Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also pr sent were <br />Charles P. Balczun, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; and Virginia <br />Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend John F. Few, Christ United Methodist Church, gave <br />the invocation, and Chairman Scurlock led the Pledge of Allegi- <br />ance to the Flag. <br />..ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Administrator Balzcun requested the addition of a discussion <br />re authorizing the Chairman to execute an agreement with McCreary <br />Associates and the Tri -County Council of Local Governments for <br />the purpose of an inter -municipal insurance pool review. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously <br />approved the above addition to the agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or correc- <br />tions to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 12, 1987. <br />There were none. <br />JUN 2 i <br />
