,JUN- 198 <br />BOOK 68 DV)E 503 <br />Mr. Powers said that he would appreciate meeting with the <br />contractor on this possibility, and thanked the Commissioners for <br />their consideration in this matter. <br />There being no others who wished to be heard, the Chairman <br />closed the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />staff's recommendation for the paving of St. <br />Christopher Lane at an interest rate of 120; the <br />paving to be coordinated with the placement of the 12" <br />water line; and directed staff to meet with the paving <br />contractor and all the property owners of St. <br />Christopher Lane to see if there is a possibility of <br />having the pavement come up to the entrance ways of the <br />driveways in order to have the entire street <br />consistent, with the understanding that this work would <br />not be part of the assessment. <br />Commissioners Eggert and Wheeler felt the Board should <br />establish a set policy in these cases. <br />110th Street East of U.S. #1 and 110th Place, East of U.S. #1 <br />Mr. Brescia explained that the paving of these streets is <br />mainly to consolidate the grader routes and save the County some <br />money. <br />Chairman Scurlock opened the Public Hearing and asked if <br />anyone wished to be heard in this matter. <br />Abel Macon, stated that his stepson, who owns Lot #4 on <br />110th Place, is in complete accordance with the petition that was <br />circulated in August, 1985,1 and wishes to see the paving done. <br />Joe Schaffer of 110th Street referred to the following <br />letter of objecti:oh signed by him and his wife and Mr. and Mrs. <br />R.O.
