JUR S 1997 BOOK 68 Pr 6E 53 <br />Commissioner Eggert understood that there is enough money in <br />this year's budgeted funds to pay for the tests that were <br />mentioned, and Chairman Scurlock maintained that the problem is <br />that the money has been allocated on a monthly basis and Dr. <br />Walker uses that as an excuse. <br />Sheriff Dobeck recommended that since there is such a fine <br />line between some homicides, suicides, and accidents, the Board <br />write a letter to Dr. Walker stating that he will perform all <br />tests relating to medical examining. <br />Administrator Balczun reported that the Selection Committee <br />also has requested each county to provide a staff person to serve <br />on a fiscal overview group to perpetually monitor the Medical <br />Examiner's office, and asked for authorization to appoint a <br />member from staff. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously authorized <br />the County Administrator to advertise the Medical <br />Examiner's salary in the range of $90,000-$120,000, <br />appoint a member of the staff to serve on the fiscal <br />overview group to monitor the Medical Examiners' <br />position; and authorized the Chairman's signature on a <br />letter to Dr. Walker telling him to perform all <br />required tests relating to medical examining. <br />REPORT ON THE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 615187: <br />47 <br />� a � <br />
