t <br />is the applicants' intention to combine the lots to create one <br />large building parcel. The current zoning classification is <br />RM -6, Multiple -Family Residential District. The land use <br />designation is LD -2, Low Density Residential, up to six (6) <br />units per acre. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS: <br />The request has been reviewed by Southern Bell, Florida Power & <br />Light, Jones Intercable, and Indian River County Utility and <br />Right -of -Way Departments. Based upon their review, there were <br />no objections to the release of the easements. The zoning <br />staff analysis, which included a site visit, showed that <br />drainage would be adequately handled on-site. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends to the Board, through adoption of a resolution, <br />the release of the common side lot (3) foot easements on lots <br />3, and 5, block 2, Roseland Gardens Subdivision, as recorded in <br />plat book 8, page 25 of the public records of Indian River <br />County, Florida. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 87-65 releasing the common 3' side lot <br />easements on Lots 3 and 5, Block 2, Roseland Gardens <br />Subdivision as requested by Tommy and Alice Douberley. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87-65 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, ABANDONING CERTAIN <br />EASEMENTS IN THE ROSELAND GARDENS <br />SUBDIVISION, LOTS 3 AND 5, BLOCK 2 <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has easements as <br />' described below; and <br />WHEREAS, the retention of those easements serves <br />no public purpose; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED -by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida that: <br />This release of easement is. executed by Indian <br />River County, Florida, a political subdivision of the State <br />of Florida, whose mailing address is 1840 25th Street, Vero <br />Beach, Florida 32960, Grantor, to Tommy -R. Douberley and <br />Alice H.
