r <br />care centers in residential areas where they can be close to <br />working mothers who need a safe, pleasant place to leave their <br />children. <br />Wilda Peddas stated that she did not use any innuendo in her <br />letter to the Press Journal, only facts, and resented being told <br />that she used innuendo. If Commissioner Wheeler felt it was <br />innuendo, she would be glad to discuss the letter with him, point <br />for point, line for line, any time. <br />Judy Turner of Turner Builders, stated that she was <br />Interested to see if the Board would stand by their decision <br />regarding the special exception use, because the Board denied <br />them a special exception use for a child care center in that <br />general area almost a year ago. <br />Sandy Kale, owner and director of the Maitland Farm <br />Pre -School, wished that she had written a letter to the Press <br />Journal congratulating the Commissioners for their wisdom and <br />courage in granting the special exception for a child care <br />center. <br />Commissioner Wheeler was very much in favor of finding a <br />vehicle to address these problems other than as special <br />exceptions, but pointed out that until we do, we have to deal <br />with these problems as they arise. <br />ROSE -4 DISTRICT HOME OCCUPATION STUDY <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 718187: <br />43 <br />L_ � J U L /.1987 <br />BOOK," <br />tA.IL Jt <br />
