The land <br />use designation is LD -2, Low Density Residential, up to 6 units <br />per acre. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS: <br />The request has been reviewed by Southern Bell, Florida Power & <br />Light, Jones Intercable, and Indian River County Utility and <br />Right -of -Way Departments. Based upon their review, there. were <br />no objections to the release of the easement. The zoning staff <br />analysis, which included a site visit, showed that drainage <br />would be adequately handled on-site. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends to the Board, through adoption of a resolution, <br />the release of the common side lot 5 foot easement of lot 21, <br />block 8, Roseland Gardens Subdivision, as recorded in plat book <br />8, page 25 of the public records of Indian River County, <br />Florida. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 87-79, releasing the 5' common side lot <br />utility and drainage easement Lot 21, Block 8, <br />Roseland Gardens Subd., as requested by David and <br />Nancy Finlaw. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87-79 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, ABANDONING A <br />CERTAIN EASEMENT IN THE ROSELAND <br />GARDENS SUBDIVISION, LOT 21, <br />BLOCK 8 <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has a easement as <br />described below, and <br />WHEREAS, the retention of that easement serves no <br />public purpose, <br />-NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida that: <br />This release of easement is executed by Indian <br />River County, Florida, a political subdivision of the State <br />of Florida, whose mailing address is 1840 25th Street, Vero <br />Beach, Florida 32960, Grantor, to David W.
