He noted that since this burner has been down for a <br />considerable time, we now have a tremendous backlog of material <br />covering about 20 acres. <br />Chairman Scurlock reported that we even have been looking at <br />a huge drum chipper as an option, and the salesman demonstrating <br />the chipper gave us an estimate of six months to clear the back <br />log and get us current.. <br />Commissioner Bird noted that it is very difficult when you <br />only receive information on big items of equipment such as this <br />the day of the meeting, and he is'taking staff's word that they <br />have worked all the numbers out. <br />Manager Dean assured the Board that he went over all this <br />with the OMB Director. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bird, the Board unanimously awarded Bid #349 <br />for a Trojan 150OZ to M. D.
