Environment <br />Thele subject property is not designated <br />sensitive nor is it in a flood -prone area. <br />Utilities <br />Water is available for the subject property. <br />facilities are not available. <br />as environmentally <br />County wastewater <br />Based on the above analysis, including the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission's recommendation and the comments received from the <br />Department of Community Affairs, staff recommends that the Board <br />of County Commissioners approve this request for a comprehensive <br />plan amendment to designate the entire subject parcel as MXD and <br />to r zone the subject parcel to CG, General Commercial. _ <br />Chairman Scurlock opened the Public Hearing and asked if <br />anyone wished to be heard. <br />Attorney Michael O'Haire, representing the applicants, <br />recalliled that in March the Planning & Zoning Commission voted 5-0 <br />to amend the Comp Plan and rezone the property and in April the <br />Board, of County Commissioners approved the submittal to the State <br />for their review by a vote of 5-0. He urged the Board to approve <br />the applicants' request. <br />There being no others who wished to be heard, the Chairman <br />closed the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />approved the requested amendment to the Comprehensive <br />Land Use Plan and adopted Ordinance 87-51, rezoning 3 <br />acres from RM -6, Multiple -Family Residential, to CG, <br />General Commercial. <br />01 <br />ABOW ACTION WILL BE INCLUDED IN AN ORDINANCE ADOPTED WHEN ALL <br />TODA)�'S COMP.
