Board of County Commissioners' Liability Insurance <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 9/16/87: <br />TO: Members of the <br />Board of <br />County Commissioners <br />DATE: September 16,• 1987 <br />SUBJECT: BOARD OF COUNTY <br />,COMMISSIONERS <br />LIABILITY INSURANCE <br />FROM: Josep A. Baird <br />OMB Director <br />Description of Conditions <br />The Board of County Commissioners requested bids on the <br />following insurance: <br />Comprehensive General Liability <br />Personal Injury <br />Automobile and Employees Errors and Ommission <br />Specific Excess <br />Proposals were sent to Arden -Waddell Insurance Agency and <br />Florida League of Cities. <br />Florida League -Cities was the only bid received -with a <br />premium of $ Staff has budgeted $435,000.00 for the <br />1987/88 FY. <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners renew <br />their liability insurance with the Florida League of Cities. <br />Commissioner Bird questioned the premium amount, and OMB <br />Director Baird explained that there was an error in the memo. <br />The amount of the premium is actually $418,242. <br />Director Baird recalled that the Board instructed staff to <br />go out to local vendors, but because of the short timeframe, the <br />24 <br />
