TO: County Commissioners <br />FROM: Liz Forlani, Administrative Aide <br />RE: Community Services Trust Fund Grant Application <br />Department of Community Affairs <br />DATE: September 21, 1987 <br />The above named grant was prepared by the Council on <br />Aging and the Association for Retarded Citizens and approved by <br />the Board at their August 18, 1987 meeting and sent to <br />Tallahassee. The Department of Community Affairs notified Ed Fry. <br />that Fellsmere also applied for this grant and that the County's <br />application either had to be amended or Fellsmere had to withdraw <br />its application. A meeting was held with all parties concerned <br />and it was agreed that the County's application would be amended <br />and that Fellsmere would apply and file their own application. <br />The total amount of the grant is $6,732.50. The amended grant is <br />for $5,000 and Fellsmere's portion is $1,732.50. <br />Approval and authorization for the Chairman to sign the <br />amended application is required. The deadline for filing was <br />August 1st, 1987. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously (3-0)' <br />approved the amended application for a Community <br />Services Trust Fund Grant for the Fellsmere Library, <br />and authorized the Chairman's signature. <br />APPLICATION IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />PUBLIC HEARING - RESOLUTION DECLARING A "SIMPSONS STOPPER" TO BE <br />A SPECIMEN TREE <br />The hour of 9:05 o'clock A.M. having passed, the Deputy <br />Clerk read the following Notice with Proof of Publication <br />attached, to wit: <br />L- SEP 2 2 1987 <br />35 RdGK 69 PACE519 <br />
