ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously (3-0) <br />accepted the above Occupational License Taxes Report <br />for the month of August, 1987. <br />F. Purchase of Used Dump Truck for Sandridge Golf Club <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 915/87: <br />TO: Honorable Board of ©ATE: September 5, 1987 FILE: <br />County Canni.ssioners <br />7m: Joseph Baird SUBJECT: <br />Budget Director <br />Bob Kanarinetz - ' <br />Director of Go <br />Dump Truck purchase price --$3800.00-1 <br />T . <br />FROM: John Hayden REFERENCES: <br />Greens Supt. -_ <br />The staff is recamiending a purchase of a one ton dump truck for _ <br />the use in top dressing from John's Island Club. This truck new <br />would cost between $12000.00 & $15000.00. <br />I have spoken to Mr. Baird about the possibility of a transfer of <br />a dump truck from the Road and Bridge Dept. but they do not have <br />any dump trucks available at this time. <br />Along with this transaction, John,Island has also agreed to include <br />a Ryan Greens Aerifier, valued new at $8000.00, for no additional <br />charge in the deal. <br />Commissioner Eggert questioned the price of the dump truck, <br />and Commissioner Bird explained that this is a negotiated price. <br />He stressed that we need a small dump truck very badly to haul <br />top soil out onto the fairways.
