Computer Upgrade - Phase If - Jail <br />The Board reviewed memo of the OMB Director: <br />TO: Members of the Board of <br />County Commissioners <br />DATE: October 7, 1987 <br />SUBJECT: COMPUTER UPGRADE <br />PHASE II - JAIL <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird <br />OMB, Director <br />Description/Analysis <br />The I.B.M. System 36 computer used to record prisoner <br />information needs to be upgraded at the jail. <br />This upgrade, estimated at $13,275, was not anticipated in <br />the original cost for Phase II. The $13,275 will have to be <br />taken from the Jail Phase II Construction Contingency, which <br />currently has a balance of $120,689. <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends $13,275 be transfered from contingencies to <br />upgrade the computer. <br />5 <br />OCT 13198-1 69 PAGE647 <br />
