RESOLUTION NO. 87- 127 <br />WHEREAS, on January 27, 1987 the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County adopted Ordinance No. <br />87-11 establishing a Local Option Tourist Development Tax in <br />Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the ordinance levying the Tourist Development <br />Tax creates within Indian River County two subcounty taxing <br />districts; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Revenue is now authorized to <br />disclose to the governing body of the county or subcounty <br />district levying the Tourist Development Tax the names and <br />addresses of taxpayers within the taxing boundaries of such <br />county or subcounty district; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County- desires to have all <br />relevant information concerning the Tourist Development Tax <br />including the names and addresses of the taxpayers within <br />the subcounty taxing districts; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1. The foregoing recitals are fully incorporated as if <br />repeated herein. <br />2. The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County requests the Department of Revenue to provide to the <br />Board of County Commissioners the names and addresses of <br />taxpayers within the taxing boundaries of the Local Option <br />Tourist Development Tax subcounty taxing districts within <br />Indian River County. <br />3. Upon adoption of this Resolution the Chairman of <br />the Board of County Commissioners is authorized to delegate <br />to staff the authority to send this resolution to the <br />Department of Revenue to obtain the information requested <br />herein. <br />UT U 48 3 5 f1joK 69 PAGE 145 <br />
