i <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously (4-0) adopted <br />Resolution 87-130 accepting the EPA Grant for the <br />Rockridge Sewer System. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87- 130 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $1,241,303 FROM THE U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL <br />PROTECTION AGENCY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF AN <br />ROCKRIDGE COLLECTION SYSTEM AND <br />AUTHORIZING TERRANCE G. PINTO, UTILITIES <br />DIRECTOR, TO EXECUTE THE REQUIRED <br />ACCEPTANCE FORMS <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County (County) has made <br />application to the United State Environmental Protection <br />Agency for a construction grant to assist in providing public <br />sewers to the Rockridge area; and <br />WHEREAS, the County has been offered a federal grant in <br />the amount of $1,241,303, which represents 55% of the E.P.A. <br />eligible costs; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to accept this grant, it is necessary <br />for the County to. execute the agreement with the E.P.A. <br />which is attached to this resolution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT: <br />1. The County accepts the offer of a federal grant in <br />the amount of $1,241,303, and <br />2. The Utilities Director, Terrance G. Pinto, is <br />authorized to execute the grant acceptance form on behalf of <br />Indian River County. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Eggert who moved its adoption.
