s <br />f <br />Tuesday, November 3, 1987 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />November 3, 1987, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and <br />Gary C. Wheeler. Absent was Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman, <br />who was recuperating from surgery. Also present were Charles P. <br />Balczun, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, Attorney to <br />the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph Baird, OMB Director; <br />and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Paul Hauenstein of Christ the King Lutheran Church, <br />Sebastian, gave the invocation,,and Chairman Scurlock led the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Wheeler requested the addition of approval for <br />a controlled study on a viadune project at Wabasso Beach Park re <br />any effect it may have on sea turtle nesting. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />added the above item to today's Agenda. <br />BOOK ;_Q DGE 01 <br />31987 <br />
