Site Plan_ Security Deposit - Sebastian Square <br />Associates, Ltd. <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 10/26/87: <br />TO: The Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Bruce Barketttt - Assistant County Attorney <br />DATE: October 26, 1987 <br />SUBJECT: Certificate of Deposit as Security for Site Plan <br />Required Improvement <br />Jerry Evans, representing Sebastian Square Associates, Ltd., <br />is required as part of site plan approval for Site Plan No. <br />SP -MA -85-09-103 to escrow $5,928.00 for a sidewalk along <br />Riverside Drive at the Sebastian Square Shopping Center, <br />Phase 1. The amount represents $1.95 per square foot. <br />Site plan applicants may construct the sidewalk or post <br />security in the form of a bond, letter of credit, cash, or <br />other instrument acceptable to the County. This applicant <br />proposes to post a certificate of deposit made out to the <br />Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County as <br />Trustee for Sebastian Square Associates, Ltd. To obtain <br />such a certificate, Florida National Bank requires the <br />County to sign a business account signature card. <br />This item is put on the agenda for approval for the Chairman <br />of the Board of County Commissioners to sign the signature <br />card to obtain the certificate of deposit as the required <br />security. Request is also made to release the cash bond in <br />the same amount previously submitted by the applicant. <br />It is recommended that the Board authorize the Chairman to <br />sign the signature card and to authorize release of the <br />cash. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />authorized the Chairman to sign the signature card and <br />authorized release of cash, as recommended by staff. <br />ASSESSMENT FOR ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE - JOHN & SONIA KIM <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 10/22/87: <br />IV <br />
