NOV 3 1987 BOOK .70 PnF •34 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />approved an agreement between the Housing Authority and <br />the County, requiring the Authority to convey the land <br />covered by Phase 11 of the Victory Park Project if and <br />when the County is required by the State of Florida to <br />pay off the loan, which is secured by the Phase 11 <br />land; and approved the guaranty agreement between the <br />State of Florida, Dept. of Community Affairs, and the <br />County which would require the County to make good on <br />the Phase 11 loan if the Housing Authority has not paid <br />the loan off by April 18, 1988; as recommended by the <br />County Attorney. <br />AGREEMENTS ARE ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />BEACH PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION COMMITTEE <br />Commissioner Wheeler reported that the Beach Committee met <br />yesterday and recommended that the City of Vero Beach be allowed <br />to accept the sponsorship of the beach restoration project, the <br />reasons being that 930 of the project falls within the City <br />limits, and it is felt that the City would have more of an <br />interest to see its completion. <br />Commissioner Wheeler reported that we are still working with <br />Cubit Engineering on the coastal study. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />adopted Resolution 87-133, transferring local <br />sponsorship of the Vero Beach Restoration Project <br />to the City of Vero Beach. <br />32 <br />
