Installation_ of Single Light - Tropic Villas North <br />The Board reviewed memo of the OMB Director: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: November 18, 1987 <br />SUBJECT: INSTALLATION OF SINGLE LIGHT - <br />TROPIC VILLA NORTH <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird <br />OMB Director <br />The Tropic Villa North Homeowners Association has requested <br />that a street light be installed at the entrance to their <br />development. They have also been advised that the City of Vero <br />Beach will be responsible for the actual installation of the <br />street light and that they will have to pay costs. <br />If the Board of County Commissioners so desires, an agreement <br />can be entered into between the Tropic Villas North Homeowners <br />Association and Indian River County for the installation, <br />maintenance and electrical costs of a single street light at the <br />entrance to Tropic Villas North. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved <br />entering into an agreement re installation of a <br />single street light at the entrance to Tropic <br />Villas North. <br />K. Approval_for County to Apply for Tax Deeds <br />The Board reviewed memo of County Attorney Vitunac: <br />TO: The Board nty Commissioners <br />c' <br />FROM: C 4it� u ac - County Attorney <br />DATE: November 17, 1987 <br />SUBJECT: Approval of County to Apply for Tax Deeds <br />I have attached a copy of a letter from Gene Morris, County <br />Tax Collector, explaining that there are five tax <br />certificates held by Indian River County which are now <br />eligible for tax deed applications. A tax certificate is a <br />lien against the land for unpaid taxes, and the County <br />may apply for tax deeds on the properties for which there <br />are tax certificates which are over two years old. <br />11 BOOK 70 PA -UE 153 <br />O <br />
