BOOK 70 pn 4:52 <br />have primary responsibility for coordinating agriculatural, <br />Livestock, and food exhibits. The FIREFIGHTERS may include <br />their name with the county fair. The FIREFIGHTERS shall <br />have sole authority of.'operation of the county fair and <br />direct all policies pertaining toward said operation, <br />subject to approval by the COUNTY Administrator. <br />3. The -.FIREFIGHTERS will arrange all contracts <br />for amusements, entertainment, and any commercial exhibits <br />or matters which they feel will enhance the fair. <br />4. The FIREFIGHTERS will provide temporary <br />structures for entertainment and commercial exhibits. Any <br />other organization contracting with -the FIREFIGHTERS will <br />provide its own temporary structure with approval of the <br />FIREFIGHTERS. The FIREFIGHTERS will negotiate for these <br />organizations to obtain temporary structures at the best <br />possible prices. All such other persons or organizations <br />shall have proof of liability insurance acceptable to the <br />COUNTY. <br />5. The FIREFIGHTERS will provide volunteer and <br />- other help to man the fair. The FIREFIGHTERS will provide <br />adequate security for the fair and.wiil provide sufficient <br />volunteers or paid security guards to maintain crowd control <br />at all times while the fair is underway. <br />6. The FIREFIGHTERS will provide electricity and <br />pay all electric and other utility bills while the fair is <br />open to the public, as well as for those dates on which the <br />fair is being set up and removed. <br />7. The FIREFIGHTERS will pay all fees and costs <br />--- necessary to conduct the fair excluding operation of <br />agriculture, livestock, and food exhibits and will maintain <br />records in accordance with sound accounting practices and <br />procedures showing all costs, expenses, as well as all <br />receipts and proceeds from the fair which will be audited by <br />a STATE certified C.P.A., and a copy of the audit will be <br />turned over to the COUNTY at the end of the fiscal year, <br />which is June 30th or as close after as possible. The <br />FIREFIGHTERS will provide all accounting required by the <br />STATE to maintain the fair's STATE permit. <br />8. The FIREFIGHTERS will provide, in addition to <br />fire insurance, liability insurance coverage in an amount of <br />not -less than $500,000 per individual injury and $1,000,000 <br />per occurrence during the term of the fair. The COUNTY <br />shall be named as co-insured on the policy and copies of the <br />policy shall be submitted to the COUNTY at least two weeks <br />prior to the start of the fair. <br />9. The FIREFIGHTERS will pay the COUNTY $5,000 at <br />the time a certified audit of the fair is presented. The <br />FIREFIGHTERS may keep 100% of the profits of any food, <br />concessions and hold exclusive rights to food concessions, <br />although proper reporting shall still be made. <br />10. The COUNTY will provide trash containers, <br />garbage collection, and sewage pickup following the fair and <br />will maintain all water and electricity systems. <br />11. The FIREFIGHTERS will provide sanitation and <br />adequate restroom facilities for persons attending the fair. <br />12. If the FIREFIGHTERS are unable to reach an <br />acceptable contract to provide a midway, or if the <br />FIREFIGHTERS cannot adequately man the fair, then the <br />72 <br />- M <br />
