Abandonment would <br />not interfere with convenient access to any surrounding <br />properties. Staff analysis indicates that all traffic aspects of <br />the subject and adjacent sites are adequately addressed by the <br />proposal. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends to the Board, through the adoption of a resolu- <br />tion, the abandonment and vacation of the thirty (30) foot <br />northerly, utility and drainage easements of Lots 1 & 8, Oak Land <br />Commercial Park Subdivision, with the stipulation that the <br />applicant agree to grant Indian River County: <br />1. a ten (10) foot pedestrian access easement across the <br />northerly portions of Lots 1 & 8, Oak Land Commercial <br />Park Subdivision, and <br />2. a five (5) foot limited access easement across the <br />northerly five (5) feet of Parcel number: 27-33-39- <br />00001-0030-00002.0, as recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 25, <br />of St. Lucie County, Florida, now in Indian River <br />County, Florida <br />The Chairman opened the Public Hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, the <br />Chairman declared the public hearing closed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 88-2, providing for the closing, <br />abandonment, and vacation of a 30 -foot wide marginal <br />access easement lying within the Oakland Commercial <br />Park Subdivision, Lots 1 and 8. <br />21 <br />JAIL 5 1988 <br />BOOK 70 PAGE 490 <br />
