FRIDAY, JALOARY 22nd 1932. <br />The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at <br />the Court House in Vero Hench, at 2:00 o'clock r.A.Friday, January 22nd 1932, in speci <br />meeting with the following members of the i3 oard present: Albert U. helseth, Chairman; <br />J.D.Yongue; J.w.LaBruee; J.J.P.namilton and Ali C. walker. also present were Miles <br />warrens Clerk and C. S. Rios, sheriff. <br />IS. U. Thatcher, representing the Farmers Bank of Vero beach appeared before the <br />Board respecting the County funds now in such .Bank. After carefully considering the <br />matter, it was moved, and seconded that the agreement of the Bank to freeze the deposit: <br />that were on hand on november 7th 1931 be accepted, subject to the approval of the *Stat <br />Comptroller, with the exception of paragraphs b and 6, and the Chairman and Clerk are <br />authorized and directed to execute same. Those voting for the motion being Commissioners <br />LaBruce; Hamilton; sulker and Helseth. Those voting against the motion being Commissio e <br />Yongue. <br />It was moved, seconded and carried unanimously that a tax rate of 5 additional mil <br />be levied, assessed and is hereby imposed upon all of the property, real and personal <br />lying and being within the boundaries of the Atlantic -Gulf especial Road. & Bridge Distri <br />for the year 1931, such 5 mills additional being in addition to the lb mills tax! levied <br />by this Board for the year 1931 on September lst 1931, and making a total of 20 mills, <br />for such said Special District. <br />`i'here being <br />no further business on motion made, <br />seconded <br />and <br />carried the Board <br />then adjourned to <br />meet at the regular meeting day on <br />February <br />2nd <br />1932. <br />ATTEST: zd� <br />Clerk. <br />0 <br />. <br />!i <br />a <br />P <br />
