ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The changes reflected in Change Order No. 2 were recommended by the <br />consulting engineer, Lloyd and Associates, in the field. Staff concurs <br />that the work was necessary. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends approval of Change Order No. 2. Funding to be frac Zone 6 <br />Traffic Impact fees (Balance as of 1/13/88 was $194,352.16.) <br />Public Works Director Jim Davis noted that the work was <br />necessary because without the additional asphalt, the road would <br />not have drained properly. <br />Commissioner Eggert asked about the status of the traffic <br />signal, and Director Davis advised that the contract execution <br />should be completed this week and Signal Construction should be <br />building the signal within the next 30 days. Hopefully, it will <br />be installed by March ist. <br />JAN 2 6 1988 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />Change Order #2 increasing the contract amount with <br />Dennis L.
