11111111 <br />Page xii. - Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in <br />Financial Reporting. <br />Certificate of <br />Achievement <br />for Excellence <br />in Financial <br />Reporting <br />Presented to <br />Indian River County, <br />• Florida <br />For its Comprehensive Annual <br />Financial Report <br />for the Fiscal Year Ended <br />September 30, 1986 <br />A Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial <br />Reporting is presented by the Govemment Finance Officers <br />Association of the United States and Canada to <br />governmental units and public, employee retirement <br />systems whose comprehensive annual financial <br />reports (CAFR's) are judged to substantially <br />conform to program standards. <br />President <br />Executive Director <br />Director Fry informed the Board that this is the fourth year <br />in a row we have received this award. Of all the eligible <br />governments in the entire U.S.A only 1% have received this <br />certificate, and he felt this is a recognition of the excellence <br />of our financial reporting. <br />Pages 4. and 5 of the report show the combined balance sheet <br />of all fund types and account groups of the county as a whole. <br />As of September 30, 1987, we had $132,691,000 total assets and a <br />total fund equity of $85,830,000. <br />FEB 16 We <br />11 <br />BOOK 70 Fp;E 829 <br />
